I am blessed...

I have done a poor job of being consistent with my blog but honestly the last 3 weeks or so I have not been in the mood to write anything about myself or anyone else. I have been in the trenches with work and have also been really trying to decipher some things that I feel like the Lord has been trying to teach me. Still working through a lot of it....

I have gotten some new work stuff since last I blogged. I like to think of it as my first client for my new Events company. Through my wonderful friend Zana I got an interview and then got hired by CMA to help with their annual Music Fest in June. It's going to be very challenging but has a lot of potential to be fun and hopefully a catalyst to more work in town. I am going to be handling the ABC Block Party-so if you are coming to Music Fest make sure and come by the tent.

I am heading to Agape in IL on Friday which is the first of the festivals for me this summer...so again say hi if you are there. I am continually questioning where and what I am supposed to be doing. But I feel like until I hear otherwise I need to stay put. I appreciate prayers as I continue to work through some fear, learning how to use my time wisely, and also as I continue to try and find a church community where my gifts and talents can be used.

I am so blessed by supportive friends and family who are my #1 fans! Blessed by the little jobs I pick up that help me get through until I am self sufficient in events. Blessed by a wonderful apartment and a car that works most days. :) Blessed to be alive.

Blessings to you all!

Quotes and Scriptures to love...

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's no just in some of us; its in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

"Live justly, love mercy, walk humbly with our God." Micah 6:8

"But yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation." Habakkuk 3:18

"The LORD your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17
