my summer...

I leave tomorrow for the first of many trips this summer. Unfortunately I am starting on a low point by having to be at the airport at 4am only to have a 3 hour layover in Denver before arriving in Sunny San Diego!

So in an effort to be able to see all friends and family over the next 3 months I am listing out planned and almost planned trips... mark your calendars.

May 27-31 San Diego, CA for work
June 19-22 NC for FUN
June 28-July 3 OH for work
July 8-18 FL for FUN and then work
July 20-26 Seattle, WA for work
July 26-29 Seattle and Portland for FUN
August 5-8 Detroit, MI for work
August 12-18 NYC for FUN

Make sure and hit me up if you are around any of these places.

I will also be in town in June working CMA Fest so make sure and come out for that one. My other plan is to sit on porches with friends, buy a sundress, play lots of volleyball if my old lady knees start cooperating, and turn my room into something like this with some help from my friends. :-)

My friend Laura posted a pic of a fort on her blog and I got insanely inspired to make my room into one... with a grown up twist.

Will post pictures when I have it done. Happy Summer everyone!

Quotes and Scriptures to love...

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's no just in some of us; its in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

"Live justly, love mercy, walk humbly with our God." Micah 6:8

"But yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation." Habakkuk 3:18

"The LORD your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17
