Summertime and the living is easy...

I am currently in Orlando, FL working an event at the convention center. Always brings back a lot of memories being here. My sister was a faithful resident of this tourist trap of a town for 8 years. We are staying in her old hotel while we are here... nostalgic to say the least. I am done here tomorrow and then have the pleasure of returning to the place of my birth for a week.. the Burg. Excited to hang with friends and family and soak up some much needed sun.

I am using this week to think and pray through a lot of things. I have been hit with a lot of vision and decisions as of late and I think this week in St. Pete will be good for me to process and pray through a lot of it. Its an exciting and scary time. In the meantime I have been greatly enjoying my summer. I have hung with friends, gone to movies (Despicable Me is my favorite one thus far), eaten a lot of fro yo (Sweet CeCes of course), played volleyball (Fellowship Bible courts), hung at the pool (dwtn Y rooftop pool), and the list goes on. I will continue some fun and fabulousness this week by hanging at the beach, pool, reading, movies, etc.

Summer is my favorite... its the Florida girl in me I guess but I love flip flops, sundresses, hanging at the beach, drinking fruity drinks at the pool, staying up too late, and seeing as many friends and family as possible. Here are some pics from my summer thus far...

My neighbor backed into my car one delightful morning.

Amateur wrestling in East Nasty.

Built a summer fort in my bedroom.

Quotes and Scriptures to love...

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's no just in some of us; its in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

"Live justly, love mercy, walk humbly with our God." Micah 6:8

"But yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation." Habakkuk 3:18

"The LORD your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17
